About Us

The story is simple; Tom and Anna love cycling and love Italy!  The food, the scenery, the culture and the people.  We’re happy when our guests are happy and really get why we’re here and appreciate what we share with them. Our Italian base is Liguria, on the western end of the Italian Riviera.

Why Liguria (and where is it!)?   We fell in love with this relatively undiscovered part of Italy on a road trip in 2018.  It offers relatively flat coastal rides as well as inland climbs up to hidden gems of villages with views to die for.

The climate offers the best year round weather in Italy, sandwiched between the Mediterranean Sea and mountains to the North which keeps the winters mild and the summers cooler than areas further south. The number of professional cyclists based in Monaco, just an hours ride away, shows what a great area it is for cycling.

It’s also easy to reach. Nice Airport is only an hour away with excellent connections to the UK.

Tom is a lifelong cyclist and former triathlete who has been hooked on cycling ever since watching Greg Lemond win the 1989 Tour de France. Anna is a former track runner with national titles to her name, who now spends more time on two-wheels. Tom spent many years working with amateur and professional athletes as manager of the University of Essex Human Performance Unit and first started leading overseas training camps over 20-years ago. Anna works as a nutritionist, with a degree in nutrition & dietetics and a Phd in Sports Science.

Both are qualified British Cycling Ride Leaders and First Aid Trained. We’ve been running trips to Sanremo since 2018 and have led numerous groups from the UK and further afield, including Canada, Australia and Sweden.

When not in Italy we live in the Chilterns in the UK – another area of outstanding natural beauty! Both areas are great for cycling, with stunning scenery and we love being able to mix time in Italy with spending time back home with family and cycling with our friends from Amersham Cycling Club.
